There are so many times when I will read something and it will really grab me. This is one of those. I was writing at the time and doing some research and came across it.
Many choose to become Christians because they think it will make life easier.
Jesus warned that it would actually make life far more difficult.
Paul promised
the same. God has called us to far more than attending
church and raising
nice children. We are in a race, a fight, a war. Those
who decide to follow
Jesus have signed themselves up for a life of suffering.
The solution is
not to dodge trials but to persevere through them.
